Pharmacy Blues

So we had our first exam on Tuesday for the semeseter. I left it feeling really good and thankful that the little bit of studying I got to do on Monday (because we were crazy busy at the hospital all weekend and I wasn't able to study while I was at work) was going to pay off. Well... I was wrong. I did about 4 questions worse than I was expecting (which doen't sound bad but they when they are 3 points each, it adds up quickly since there are only 20 questions total!) and about 2 questions less that I would have though acceptable. And those 2 questions make a difference in a letter grade! No... I didn't fail. And I still have 300 or so points I can earn on future exams, but it really sucks that I didn't start off the semester really good. Now I have to work even harder play catch-up. I don't think I would feel so bad if the class average had been lower.. but probably 30% of the class got As and another 30% got Bs. And I wasn't in that 60%. And now I have to put a crazy amount of effort to in to get ready for Friday's Dispensing Exam... which may or may not turn out much better. I would love to get a B on that exam. Really! I'm sure that in a couple of days, I won't feel so bummed about it but now I just want to sit around and cry witha bottle of wine :o(
